I am Carina Souza, I was born in the northeast coast of Brazil but I lived most of my life in São Paulo. 

In college I chose to study environmental engineering in São Paulo State University. During most of my studies I was also involved in research projects mainly studying the wind energy potential in the northeast of Brazil. 

My international academic experience started in 2018, when I spent a year in France, half of this time I was taking courses in Ecole des mines d’Albi-Carmaux and the other half I was an intern, working in the water treatment area in the marketing department for a company in Paris. 

After finishing my studies, I worked for six months in a local company in São Paulo in the finance department and also in the marketing department.

I came to Franklin University Switzerland because in my opinion the masters program combines management courses with environmental awareness very well. In addition to that for my future career path I want to work for an NGO in the environmental sector.
