Name:
Kristen Abberley
Course:
Master in International Management with an emphasis in Responsible Management and Climate Action
I am currently earning a Masters of Science in International Management with a focus on climate action from Franklin University of Switzerland (FUS).
In the years that have led me to this opportunity with FUS, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the College of Charleston where I built a foundational interest in the environment.
After graduating, I became an Outdoor Educator for the Cape Eleuthera Institute during which I led programs to educate students on sustainability and marine conservation through hands-on learning in the field.
Shortly after, I started my career at Esri as an Account Manager and then a Team Lead. As an Account Manager, I led customer engagements with a consultative business development approach by advising my clients on how to leverage Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology to accomplish their business objectives.
As a Team Lead, I lead Esri’s Mid-Market Team of Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, and Account Executives, through motivation and active coaching to drive results.
I came to FUS with the goal to more closely align my career with environmental stewardship. I am interested in a career where I can have a positive impact and satisfy my interest in gaining new skills and experiences that will empower me to grow as a responsible leader and influence optimal outcomes for the environment.
