My name is Melyis Cabrero I am Cuban-American, spent most of my life in Miami, Florida. I have always been a patron of the Arts, beginning my journey with Tech Theater and then eventually attaining a bachelor’s in Art History with a Minor in Studio Art at the very esteemed Franklin University, Switzerland. Nonetheless, my relationship with Franklin University is special and sacred.  

My undergraduate experience at Franklin gave me the tools and hands-on approach to education that aided my academic and personal growth immensely, leaving me with the desire to continue exploring different aspects of the art world. As a matter of fact, my journey even before Franklin was full of many experiences, from working in customer service to dealing with artists, directors, and set designers in theater. 

In terms of my future plans, I have always enjoyed the process of working behind the scene; to watch how work or piece comes together is very exciting for me. I hope to continue to use my art supplies as a magic wand, which helps me realize projects, whether business or art-related.
