Franklin Hosts EMBA Korea Students and aSSIST University Delegates

On Monday, August 14, the FUS-aSSIST dual degree  EMBA delegation met on the Franklin University Switzerland campus to  conclude the two-week Summer 2023 EMBA residential program, also known  as "boot camp." In the morning, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Kim  Hildebrant welcomed students from the EMBA program and expressed  appreciation for the fruitful partnership between Franklin and aSSIST University, which runs the Seoul Business School in Sinchon, Korea.

Lugano Living Lab (LLL) representative Jan Trautmann presented current work being done in the realm of digital technologies and Plan B—Lugano's bitcoin  initiative. Visiting students appreciated the link between the boot camp program and the LLL presentation, as it helped to bridge the gap  between theory and practice.

In the evening, FUS hosted the Bootcamp Closing Ceremony, where  Franklin President Samuel Martín-Barbero introduced the partners and  students. Vice President of aSSIST Choi congratulated the EMBA class and  thanked FUS for organizing the residential study camp that allowed  students to learn about the latest developments in the Ticino region.  Lead instructor Simone Manneschi congratulated the students as well and  wished them great success after their joint EMBA program concluded.

The  visiting students from Korea received their certificates, took part in a  memorable photo session, and enjoyed a summery reception on the  President's lawn on the Kaletsch campus. The Franklin community is proud  of the international partnership the EMBA boot camp represents and  hopes to continue collaborating with other graduate schools through the  Taylor Institute.
