Abstract

Three Franklin seniors (Class of 2021) were integrally involved in the publication of volume 20 of the journal Carnival. Andrea Briscoe is on the editorial board of that journal and Moriah Simonds is currently the Editor-in-Chief.

Simon Burns published a book review of The Burden of the Past: Problems of Historical Perception in Japan-Korea Relations by Kan Kimura. (opens in pdf)

Moriah Simonds published an article entitled “The Matrix of Radical Hindu Nationalism and the Synthetization of Indian History.” (opens in pdf)

All three students are members of the International Students of History Association (ISHA), the organization that publishes Carnival. The students have expressed their gratitude to Franklin faculty, especially history professors Marcus Pyka and Fintan Hoey.
